Academics
Pathway’s curriculum is based on the philosophy of Christian education which relates
biblical truths to every area of learning. Faculty use a traditional approach to
classroom teaching with a variety of carefully chosen textbooks and materials, including
A Beka Book, Bob Jones, and Saxon.
ACSI Membership
Pathway Christian Academy is a member of the Association of Christian Schools International
(ACSI – www.acsi.org). This is
the largest association of Bible-believing Christian schools in the world, with
more than 5,300 member schools. ACSI offers a teacher certification program which
Pathway encourages each of its full-time teachers to pursue within five years of
employment. Faculty members attend ACSI teachers’ conferences annually in order
to further their development as educators and to fulfill certification requirements.
In order to offer opportunities for students to stretch themselves beyond the boundaries
of their own school, Pathway participates in as many regional ACSI-sponsored student
competitions as possible.
